The velvet texture of the apple-green leaves, with an intricate pattern of conspicuous veins gives this plant an unusual air.
Flowering occurs during late summer. Seed capsules are 2.5 to 3cm long and split upon maturity and release tiny dark seeds.
NATIVE VIOLET is a glorious addition to any rockery in an area of high humidity and ample water.
