This is one of the smaller Crinum to be found in tropical Queensland.

It favours damp sandy flats exposed to full sun and carries one or two showy flowers on an upright stem. The flowers are usually white but may be relieved with a delicate touch of pink. The lengthy filaments carrying long, narrow anthers add to the glory of this northern Crinum.
Without flowers the plants are inconspicuous because of their narrow grass-like leaves. Flowering begins with the onset of the "wet". Seeds strike very readily but require constant moisture.
