The brilliant white, strongly fragrant flowers form clusters which contrast pleasantly with the multi-green of the surrounding tropical vegetation.
Butterflies, with hues more numerous than a rainbow flutter and hover about the flowers, then settle lighter than a fairy, wings still shimmering in the sunlight. Little attention do they pay to the bright green, shining foliage which is so attractive to the human eye.
This superb climber makes a distinctive display as a garden specimen, especially if planted where it can ascend a large tree.
NATIVE JASMINE can be easily controlled in a small garden with moderate pruning. With a little care seeds germinate well but propagation may also be done from cuttings.
