A shy and inconspicuous bird found foraging for fruit in dense rainforest.
They will usually be found alone or in pairs, but can sometimes form small flocks. They are often difficult to spot, as the olive-green colour blends in well with the surroundings.
They build a cup shaped nest from bark strips and vines, usually between a couple of branches or in a fork, high in the canopy.
They breed during the wet season (October to March) and usually lay 2 eggs.
