Jindalba Long Loop

The more adventurous walk at Jindalba (moderate difficulty) following a clear trail through the rainforest.

This loop walk is accessed off the shorter and easier Jindalba Boardwalk loop. It passes through stunning rainforest, past huge trees and crosses picture postcard creeks (you will get your feet wet).

Difficulty

Difficulty: 3

Considered a "moderate" difficulty walk, with some shallow creek crossings, and uneven ground. The clay soil can be very slippery after rain so careful foot placement will be needed to avoid a fall.

Getting There

After crossing the Daintree Ferry, follow Cape Tribulation Road north for approximately 9km.

Turn right into Tulip Oak Road (signed to the Discovery Centre). Continue to the end of the road (past the Discovery Centre) and the parking area.
